Spot Welder

Responsibilities
Spot Welding: Execute high-quality spot welds on steel assemblies, ensuring structural integrity and meeting production quotas.

Industrial Grinding: Perform heavy-duty grinding to smooth welds, remove burrs, and prep surfaces for the next stage of production.

Plasma Cutting: Assist with operating manual or CNC plasma cutting equipment to cut steel components according to specific blueprints.

Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of welded joints and finished parts to ensure they meet precision requirements.

Material Handling: Safely move steel components through the welding and grinding stations to maintain a fluid "assembly line" pace.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Spot Welder in a similar Manufacturing role involving metalwork.

Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.

Ability to reliably commute to the job location in Aylmer, Ontario.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety in a manufacturing setting.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
