Responsibilities
• Coordinate and track the daily movement of inbound and outbound retail freight shipments.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor vendor compliance metrics, tracking on-time delivery rates, order completeness, and transit lead times to identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with retail merchandising and procurement teams to manage stock levels, avoiding both costly overstock situations and item stockouts.
• Review, process, and archive critical supply chain documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs clearance paperwork.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of direct experience working as a Supply Chain Coordinator, logistics, or inventory specialist, preferably within retail.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field of study.
• Solid understanding of Canadian freight regulations, bills of lading, customs procedures, and standard shipping documentation.
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities, with a sharp attention to detail required to spot documentation errors or shipping inconsistencies early.
• Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada and currently residing within a dependable commuting distance of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
