Responsibilities
- Project Governance: Lead the development and management of the Integrated Project Plan, tracking timelines, deliverables, and work package milestones.
- Financial Management: Forecast, monitor, and report on dedicated budgets for approved projects within the portfolio.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Engage with vendors and multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Privacy, Security) to refine business requirements and manage delivery expectations.
- Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify risk events and potential conflicts between functional and technical areas, recommending mitigation strategies for senior decision-makers.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work with Data Management and Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR) teams to translate stakeholder feedback into technical requirements.
- Readiness & Deployment: Oversee go-live readiness activities, including technical configuration, conformance obligations, and clinical workflow modifications.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain the project document repository and produce regular status reports for regional and provincial stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Senior PM Leadership: 5–8+ years of experience managing electronic health projects, specifically the deployment of clinical software systems.
- Methodology Mastery: Deep knowledge of PMI concepts, risk management, and work package planning; proficiency in MS Project and MS Teams.
- Immunization Domain Expertise: 2–4+ years of specialized experience with immunization workflows and business processes within pharmacies, hospitals, and health records.
- Public Health Context: Past experience with jurisdictional public health programs or immunization registries/repositories.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of privacy policies and legislative processes, including PHIPA, FIPPA, and HPPA.
- Matrix Environments: Proven ability to lead projects in highly political matrix organizations and facilitate conflict resolution across teams.
