Responsibilities
Custom Systems Assembly: Install, wire, and test complete air brake systems (ABS/EBS), suspensions, axles, and 12V electrical harnesses on custom commercial trailers.
Hydraulics & Fluid Power: Assemble hydraulic wet lines, PTO systems, and cylinders for specialized heavy transport and live-bottom units.
Diagnostics & Safety: Perform annual safety inspections, pre-delivery sign-offs, and troubleshooting on air, mechanical, and electrical setups.
Fabrication Support: Perform minor MIG/Stick welding touch-ups and bracket fitting as needed during sub-assembly.
Qualifications
Credentials: Licensed 310J Trailer Technician (or 310T / 310S / Senior 310J Apprentices with strong trailer setup experience).
Hands-On Depth: Solid background diagnosing air brake schematics, 12V wiring, suspension setups, and hydraulic fluid systems.
Tooling: Basic hand tool set and a commitment to shop safety.
