As a 310T Licensed Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and overhauls in a timely and efficient manner—ensuring adherence to quality standards, customer expectations, cost controls, and reliability goals. This role requires sound judgment and regularly involves mentoring less experienced technicians. The position demands the highest level of expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair, while also playing a key role in guiding, developing, and training other technicians. Specialization in areas such as refrigeration, electronics, or exhaust systems is an asset. Candidates should bring a strong background in vehicle maintenance, supported by ASE certifications and/or other recognized industry qualifications.
Where: Mississauga
Salary 35$-40$/hr per hour depending on experience.
Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities
-Perform maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems, including:
Tires and wheels, Air and hydraulic brake systems, A/C, heating, and refrigeration systems, Cargo handling and transfer equipment, Liftgates, Cranking and lighting systems (electrical), Electrical accessories, Clutches and cooling systems, Drive axles and driveline components, Diesel and gasoline engines, Fuel systems, Steering systems and non-driven axles, Chassis and cab suspension, Vehicle coupling systems (Preventive Maintenance), Coach and mentor lower-level technicians to support their development, Provide guidance to shop management and team members on repair procedures and diagnostic strategies
-Perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed
-Utilize shop management software and electronic documentation systems effectively
-Ensure all work is performed in compliance with federal/provincial and corporate safety and regulatory standards (e.g., DOT, MOT)
- Assist with additional operational support tasks as needed, including service island duties
Qualifications
-310T license required
-H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
-Vocational or Technical Certification preferred Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications
-Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work, Diagnostics and repairs, including AC, electrical system.
- Advanced skilled level repairs to include some major engine repairs, diesel after treatment or automotive fuel injection repairs required
-Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
-Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc. advanced required
-Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
-All other certification as required by location, required
