Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume customer invoicing and submit via various online portals.
- Apply daily customer payments and prepare bank deposits with high precision. Perform extensive data entry and record maintenance within Sage Business Vision ERP.
- Resolve billing discrepancies through effective collaboration with internal departments.
- Manage professional telephone inquiries and maintain organized financial filing systems.
- Assist the Controller with month-end closing procedures and inventory tracking.
- Provide professional communication when answering telephone inquiries from customers.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior AR experience or high volume data entry and invoicing.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict reporting and collection deadlines while still maintaining accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Exceptional data entry speed and accuracy, even when working under pressure.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the invoicing lifecycle.
