Responsibilities
-Process and verify vendor invoices with accuracy, ensuring correct coding and adherence to company policies
-Execute payments via electronic transfers, cheques, and other approved methods
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
-Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation
-Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accruals and financial reporting
-Perform AP, AR, GL tasks and journal entries using QuickBooks Desktop
Qualifications
-Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable
-Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop is required
-Strong understanding of general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end procedures
-Strong communication and problem-solving abilities for vendor and internal interactions
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Comfortable with a 3-month contract term, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
