•Transaction Management: Prepare daily coding and inputting for various accounting transactions.
•Cash Operations: Manage daily bank deposits, credit card processing, and petty cash reimbursements.
•Payment Application: Handle payment application posting and ensure accounts receivable records are up to date.
•Period-End Support: Assist the finance team with various month-end and period-end activities, including possible journal entries.
•Cycle Functions: Perform general corporate accounting cycle functions to support the broader fiscal health of the department.
Qualifications
•Experience: Demonstrated experience working within accounting functions, specifically in Accounts Receivable (AR) and/or Accounts Payable (AP).
•Technical Skills: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
•Accounting Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
•Soft Skills: High level of attention to detail, superior accuracy, and the ability to multi-task under deadlines.
