Responsibilities
-Perform Accounts Payable duties, including matching, verifying, and entering vendor invoices with correct General Ledger coding for payment runs.
-Handle Accounts Receivable and Collections by posting cash receipts daily and contacting customers to resolve past-due payments, short payments, and discrepancies.
-Complete and finalize all month-end procedures through to financial statements within three business days.
-Provide Accounting Support by maintaining time and attendance records, preparing financial reports for management, and assisting the Senior Management Team.
-Assist with Office Administration duties, including managing mail, answering calls, purchasing supplies, and assisting with company events
Qualifications
-1 to 3 years of accounting work experience (AR and AP)
-Experience with Great Plains is considered an asset
-Ability to work collaboratively with a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and exhibit a self-motivated attitude
-Experience working in a fast paced working environment
-Ability to work onsite in Woodbridge, ON 5 days a week
