Responsibilities
As the Regional Accounting Lead, you will be the cornerstone of the branch's financial administration. Your responsibilities include:
• Coordinate all administrative activities for the branch.
• Directly responsible for all project administration duties by ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of data.
• Serves as a gatekeeper, auditor, and analyst for the branch.
• Directly responsible for billing, collections, accounts payable, inventory, and other administrative tasks.
• Primary Regional Liaison between Corporate Accounting and Back Office Operations.
• Managing customer aging report.
• Understanding of GST, PST, HST rules and regulations.
• Responsible for Regulatory Government remittances including GST, payroll and taxes.
• Prepares GST, PST, & CPP reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis on project and branch financial data.
• Facilitate the daily, weekly, and monthly processes of gathering data and generating reports for management to evaluate branch performance.
• Operational reporting to include but not limited to Op. Ex. Tracking, Invoicing and working Capital.
• Indirectly responsible for supporting customer and business development activities including job-oriented scheduling, safety, HR, payroll, and administrative roles residing in satellite branches and nested customer accounts.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and legal regulations.
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to Company values, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of related accounting experience.
• Experience in data, operational, and financial analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.
• Detailed-oriented and self-motivated approach, capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills—able to work effectively with staff at all levels, customers, and suppliers.
• The capability to assist with leading the administrative team through planning, communication, and problem-solving.
