Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a CPA-designated Accounting Manager to their team. This individual will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Coordinate the collection of financial information and provide ongoing guidance and support
- Address client inquiries and ensure a high standard of service delivery
Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Oversight
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial statement preparation
- Lead and review month-end close processes
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
Team Leadership
- Review and mentor two junior accountants
- Provide technical guidance and ensure quality control standards are met
Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee GST, PST, and payroll deductions filings (training provided if needed)
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support the firm’s commitment to leveraging technology and modern systems
Qualifications
- Canadian CPA designation (required)
- Strong experience managing month-end close and preparing financial statements
- Solid technical accounting knowledge and practical application skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Sage 50
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
