Responsibilities
As the Accounting Manager, your role will include the following:
* Sales tax filing
* Oversee a team of 3 people
* Prepare month end close (4 day close)
* Work with the USA team to reconcile accounts
* Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts
* Support the audit process
* Experience with high volume transactions and intercompany required
* Experience with foreign currency (USA/UK)
Qualifications
* 5+ yrs in full cycle accounting
* Accounting diploma or degree in Accounting or Business
* Good with excel (pivots, look ups, formulas)
* Good communication skills and the ability to partner across Canada, USA and UK
* Deadline oriented
* Prior experience with intercompany and high volume transactions
* Experience with foreign currency
