Responsibilities
Financial Record Management: Taking ownership of daily bookkeeping activities, including managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to keep their financial transactions organized and on track.
Month-End Contributions: Playing a crucial role in the month-end close process by assisting with GL account reconciliations, posting journal entries, and diving into financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Analysis: Preparing and analyzing various reports, from operational departmental costs to ad-hoc reports, to provide a clear picture of financial health.
Process Improvement: Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance their cost control and monitoring systems.
Compliance & Audit Support: Ensuring all financial transactions are compliant with company policies and preparing essential working papers to support their auditors.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience, demonstrating a strong grasp of both accounting theory and practice.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll be a team player who can build collaborative relationships across departments and handle inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
A remarkable attention to detail, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end.
