Job Opportunity: Temporary Accounts Payable Administrator
Location: Burnaby, BC (In-Office)
Position Type: Temporary (Minimum 1 month, with potential for Permanent Conversion)
Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $25.00/hour (Negotiable based on experience)
Permanent Salary Range: Up to $60,000 (Upon conversion)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities
As a core member of a two-person AP team, your duties will include:
Data Entry & Coding: Performing basic code entry and matching data entries within the accounting system.
Audit & Review: Reviewing GL codes for accuracy and ensuring all documentation matches internal records.
Document Management: Managing the high-volume filing of financial documents and maintaining organized paper and digital records.
Team Support: Providing direct administrative assistance to the AP Supervisor to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills are required. While experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset, they are happy to train candidates with transferable skills in other ERP and accounting systems.
Work Style: You are a multitasker who is organized, proactive, and willing to ask questions to ensure accuracy.
Adaptability: You are comfortable working in a paper-intensive environment and understand the importance of physical record-keeping.
Motivation: You are an eager learner and self starter looking to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
