Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in accordance with company policy.
- Handle daily financial transactions, meticulously verifying expenses against all supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Produce and analyze monthly aged accounts payable reports to monitor cash flow and identify potential issues.
- Investigate and resolve vendor account discrepancies through thorough and diligent reconciliation.
- Apply a comprehensive understanding of expense accounts and cost centers to correctly categorize all financial transactions.
- Execute and post monthly adjusting journal entries to ensure the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience
- Confidence and proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Sage 300 software is very nice to have.
- Strong foundation of basic Accounts Payable principles.
