Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, from invoice verification to timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner
- Conduct cost variance analysis and maintain accurate costing records for raw materials and finished goods
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to payables and inventory
- Support internal controls and compliance with company policies and audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve data accuracy
- Maintain the integrity of ERP and accounting systems by ensuring data consistency and timely updates
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and/or costing
- Strong understanding of financial systems and ERP platforms (experience with PowerBI is a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
