Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Invoice Management: Conduct daily review and verification of all electronic invoices, ensuring Purchase Orders (POs) are accurately matched and updated while proactively resolving any discrepancies with internal departments.
Payment Processing & Execution: Facilitate the end-to-end payment cycle, including batching invoices, managing EFTs and wire transfers, and issuing cheques to ensure all vendors are paid accurately and on schedule.
Vendor Relations & Compliance: Oversee the onboarding of new suppliers by completing credit applications and performing regular reconciliations of monthly supplier statements to maintain account integrity.
Financial Documentation & Posting: Ensure all approved invoices and payments are posted daily to the ledger while maintaining a meticulously organized digital and physical filing system for audit readiness.
Treasury & Administrative Support: Manage the secure deposit of customer payments.
Qualifications
At least 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically within an Accounts Payable or full-cycle accounting.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating various ERP or accounting software systems, including the use of Remote Deposit Capture tools.
Exceptional mathematical accuracy and data entry skills, combined with a proven ability to handle sensitive financial information with total confidentiality.
