Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end standalone accounts payable workflow, ensuring all vendor accounts remain accurate and up to date
• Review, verify, and input a high volume of medical and corporate invoices into the accounting system
• Execute three-way matching by reconciling invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies by communicating directly with vendors and internal department heads
• Prepare and process regular weekly payment runs, including electronic funds transfers (EFT) and cheque disbursements
• Maintain highly organized digital financial records to ensure compliance with healthcare industry audit standards
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated accounts payable experience, ideally managing a standalone desk or working with minimal supervision
• Experience working with accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting tight financial deadlines with high accuracy
