Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Processing: Sort, code, and allocate payments; obtain approvals and ensure three-way matching.
Systems Management: Enter and upload invoices into accounting software and maintain the vendor database.
Financial Accuracy: Reconcile complex vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or missing documentation to ensure on-time payments.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and manage monthly statement distributions.
Operational Support: Facilitate weekly cheque runs and assist the leadership team with month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
Experience: Ideally 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience.
Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or Commerce is preferred.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience navigating various accounting ERP systems.
Volume Management: Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately within a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism: Strong organizational skills and the ability to exercise sound business judgment and initiative.
