Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices by verifying, coding and entering payables into ERP system in a timely manner
- Ensure expenses are charged to the correct accounts and cost centers
- Ensure all cheques are properly authorized and mailed promptly
- Prepare and process weekly cheque runs, electronic payments in a timely manner
- Receive, review and organize incoming vendor bills and statements
- Perform other duties as required
- Work with software Great Plains
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of BisTrack and Great Plains is an asset
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to handle company information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route
