Responsibilities
- Record, process, and pay vendor invoices utilizing the Laguna ERP application
- Ensure proper approval and tracking of invoices, verifying the accuracy of vendors, items, quantities, prices, and purchase terms
- Ensure that vendor payments are made in a timely manner to comply with vendor terms
- Investigate and report accounts payable discrepancies and resolve recurring problems
- Participate in training programs for food safety, HACCP procedures, and health and safety initiatives
- Contribute to the overall Health and Safety of the team and work effectively in a flexible team environment
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a progressive manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma required; an Accounting Certificate (1 year) is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 with good Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including knowledge of modern business letter formats
