Responsibilities
-Accounts Payable: Process high-volume vendor invoices for raw materials and services, perform 3-way matching, reconcile vendor statements, and manage monthly credit card postings and subledger balancing.
-Purchasing: Create and issue purchase orders, communicate with vendors regarding lead times and pricing, and negotiate supplier contracts.
-Logistics & Documentation: Schedule supplier transportation, manage customs clearance documents, and maintain critical files including Safety Data Sheets and CUSMA/USMCA forms.
-Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels (Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods), lead cycle counts and year-end physical counts, and investigate variances.
-Data Management: Ensure accurate inventory data within the ERP system (including UOM calculations) and maintain offline Excel cost sheets to support the sales team.
Qualifications
-Industry Experience: 2-3 years of experience in AP, purchasing, and inventory control specifically within a manufacturing environment.
-Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a talent for mathematical solutions.
-Operational Knowledge: A strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, Bills of Material (BOM), and inventory movement.
-Logistics Acumen: Familiarity with customs documentation and supplier contract negotiation.
-Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
