Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable including invoice entry, processing customer payments, and preparing bank deposits.
- Oversee customer account maintenance and the processing of cross-border sales documentation, including regulatory requirements.
- Monitor aging accounts to ensure timely receipt of funds and perform necessary collection activities and professional inquiries.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and investigations to resolve discrepancies between sub-ledgers and the general ledger.
- Support month-end and period-end requirements through the preparation of customer statements and statistical financial reports.
Qualifications
- Direct experience in Accounts Receivable and general accounting duties.
- An Accounting or Business Diploma is preferred; completion of related accounting courses is an asset.
- High level of competency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is an asset.
- Strong investigative skills to interpret information and determine the root cause of financial discrepancies.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage and resolve both internal and external inquiries.
