We are currently recruiting for a 3 month contract, full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk in Burlington. You would be working with a growing company with lots of room for advancement. This opportunity has a strong possibiltity to be extended and turn permanent. A normal day would include receiving, verifying, and processing accounts invoices, following up with clients and other departments to resolve discrepancies. This is a full-cycle, high volume accounting position.
The ideal candidate would be from an accounting program and/or have past experience working within a financial firm or brokerage. If you consider yourself to have strong attention to detail, organized, and hardworking, this might be a great opportunity for you! New grads are welcome!

Advantages

Responsibilities
- Overseeing invoicing, payments, bank deposits and reconciliations
- General finance and clerical duties
- Communicating with other departments and team members to troubleshoot
- Full cycle accounts receivable
- Ensuring customer accounts are current
- Communicating with clients and customers by both phone and email
- Reaching out to vendors about outstanding items, discrepancies and missing documents
- Generating weekly payments, reconciling vendor statements, and credit cards
- Other administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications
- New grad or experience with Accounts Receivable
- Experience in a financial firm or brokerage is an asset
- Thrive in a fast paced environment and able to problem solve
- Education within Accounting, Economics, or relevant field is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting program is an asset
- Must be comfortable working independently and a team
- Must be reliable, dedicated, and punctual
