Responsibilities
- Accurately perform pickup entry and billing processes by entering customer pickup requests from online job boards, emails, and direct communications into the logistics database.
- Provide customer support by answering customer service calls and emails promptly and thoroughly.
- Coordinate directly with dispatchers and drivers to gather timely status updates and communicate freight progress to customers.
- Book, schedule, and meticulously update delivery and pickup appointments within the Truckmate system.
- Dispatch drivers according to pre-planned routes, issuing necessary route details and printing essential paperwork when required.
- Track shipments actively with interline carriers via phone and email, providing regular and proactive status updates to clients.
- Perform accurate validation procedures by verifying billing details against Bills of Lading (BOLs), printing labels, working copies, and manifests.
- Systematically update Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and Bills of Lading (BOLs) in the system to maintain up-to-date order records.
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping, customer service, and logistics support
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills dedicated to delivering superior customer service
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry capabilities for order billing, validation, and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve logistics delays, schedule conflicts, and driver updates efficiently
- Collaborative team-player mindset with a strong ability to coordinate with drivers, interline carriers, and internal dispatchers
