Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly technical Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer to join their integration engineering team.
...
In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Adobe Workfront Fusion automation scenarios that orchestrate end-to-end workflows across multiple integrated systems. You will build robust, event-driven integration logic that seamlessly connects creative, operations, and data platforms. Working in a hybrid setup, you will implement complex data transformation formulas, configure webhooks and REST API connections, establish strict idempotency and deduplication checks, and design centralized error-handling and observability frameworks to ensure high reliability across the automation layer.
Duration: 4-Month Contract (Focused Integration & Automation Mandate)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week on-site: Monday through Thursday)
Advantages
Enterprise Transformation Scope: Play a key engineering role building event-driven integration pipelines for a retail leader's digital product and asset ecosystem.
Modern Integration Architecture: Work extensively with RESTful API architectures, OAuth 2.0 authentication, JSON payloads, and automated webhook triggers.
High-Visibility Technical Ownership: Architect centralized error-handling, logging, and observability scenarios across complex multi-system workflows.
Collaborative Delivery Culture: Partner directly with Workfront configuration analysts, enterprise integration leads, and platform engineers in an Agile setting.
Responsibilities
Fusion Scenario Engineering: Design, build, and maintain Workfront Fusion scenarios covering event-based triggers, scheduled executions, webhooks, and HTTP API integrations across connected platforms.
Data Transformation & Mapping: Develop data transformation and mapping logic within Fusion using built-in functions to translate payloads between disparate system data structures and schemas.
API & Authentication Integration: Build and consume REST APIs (GET, POST, PATCH) utilizing structured JSON payloads, implementing secure authentication including OAuth 2.0, API keys, and HMAC signatures.
Error Handling & Observability: Implement comprehensive error handling (retry policies, Break module configurations, incomplete execution tracking, correlation IDs) and build structured logging integrations for external monitoring tools.
Idempotency & Deduplication: Implement idempotency checks and deduplication logic to prevent duplicate record processing across event-driven and retry workflows.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Documentation: Collaborate with Workfront analysts and integration leads to validate webhook payloads, endpoint specifications, and document all scenario designs, data flows, and authentication rules.
Testing & Release Support: Execute unit and integration testing, build test scenarios, triage post-launch incidents, and participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming.
Qualifications
Adobe Workfront Fusion Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and building Workfront Fusion scenarios and a deep understanding of the Fusion execution model.
Data Transformation Logic: 2+ years of experience writing complex data transformation logic within Fusion using built-in functions and formulas.
API & 3rd-Party Integration: 1+ years of experience integrating Workfront Fusion with 3rd-party applications using REST APIs and structured JSON payloads.
Security & Authentication Protocols: Practical experience implementing authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, API keys, and HMAC signature validation.
Error Handling & Resilience: Demonstrated experience configuring Fusion error-handling modules (Break modules, retries, incomplete executions) and logging frameworks.
Agile & System Lifecycle: Familiarity with Agile software development practices, unit/integration testing, and maintaining clear technical design documentation.
Summary
If you are a tech-savvy Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer who pairs 2+ years of Fusion execution model mastery with strong REST API integration, data transformation, and automated error-handling skills, this 4-month hybrid contract opportunity is an ideal next step. Bring your integration engineering precision, API expertise, and workflow automation skills to our client's team today!
