Responsibilities
- Mentoring and leading a team of 10 Account Managers while increasing advertising revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Holding sales individuals accountable and identifying development opportunities
- Develop, implement and monitor advertising strategies
- Train new hires
- Attend networking events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a successful sales team is mandatory ideally in the Advertising space
- Post-Secondary education in Marketing and/or Business preferred
- Knowledge of print and digital advertising as well as social media marketing is needed
- Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Motivated, persistent, and a great leader
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a CRM system
- Ability to travel withinWinnipeg, Steinbach, and Brandon by car
