Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and build RCAF Application Platform applications using modern full-stack technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, VueJS, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, and various authentication protocols.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of applications, including onboarding new applications and developing necessary features.
- Contribute to the development of diverse user personas to enhance application usability and design.
- Collaborate with the Joint Defence Cloud Project to automate software development pipelines (DevTest, Staging, Production), ensuring adherence to all security protocols.
- Offer technical assistance and recommendations on optimizing the software factory pipeline.
- Actively engage in daily/weekly meetings and Sprint planning sessions with the Product Owner and Product Director.
- Prepare comprehensive drawings, data packages, and system manuals for developed applications and processes.
Qualifications
Valid Secret level security clearance.
Recent experience with systems relevant to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
5+ years of experience in software development as part of an Agile Software Development team.
Proficiency in custom software development and experience with short iterations .
Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Familiarity with modern Development Operations (DevOps) practices.
