Responsibilities
• Perform precise welding and fabrication tasks on aircraft parts, adhering to established technical specifications and quality standards.
• Execute intricate silver brazing procedures on components as required by project specifications.
• Construct and assemble custom fixtures for various assembly operations.
• Efficiently manage and execute welding projects from planning through to final inspection, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Uphold and adhere to all company quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, promptly reporting any safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Undertake other duties as assigned to support overall team and project goals.
Qualifications
• Possession of a provincial Welder Level (B) certificate, an inter-provincial (B) welder equivalent, or an approved equivalent from an international training body is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and oversee the work of junior team members.
• A proven track record of working effectively and safely with minimal supervision.
