Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr – $40.00/hr (based on experience)
WHMIS Certification mandatory to be considered for this role.
You bring a minimum of 2 years of aluminum welding experience in a manufacturing setting
Assets: Red Seal Certification, CWB Certification
Eligibility: You are located in and legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Read and interpret schematics and drawings for welding and assembly
Perform aluminum welding on boat hulls and components
Measure, plan layouts, and determine appropriate welding methods
Set up and prepare materials using tools such as grinders
Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and identify defects
Complete work within deadlines while meeting quality standards
Troubleshoot welding and assembly issues as needed
Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and engineers
Follow safety protocols, company policies, and ISO quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Complete required documentation and reports
Support additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
2–3 years of aluminum welding experience (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
WHMIS Certification mandatory to be considered for this role.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (asset)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
You have steel-toe work boots
Interview Process: Onsite interview required, including a weld test
