Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Project Consultant Contract - Immediate Start
We're looking for an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Project Consultant to join our clients team on a contract basis to support a critical compliance initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML policies and procedures, with direct experience in financial services and commercial credit adjudication. This role is a brand new position, created to ensure our organization is fully compliant with new government regulations by the April 1, 2026 deadline.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Policy and Procedure Implementation: You'll be responsible for developing and implementing new AML policies and procedures, including a new risk model for credit adjudication. This involves ensuring all new requirements, such as collecting IDs, are integrated into our processes.
Systems and Data Management: Develop and test system changes in our core platforms, to ensure data fields and reporting are compliant with new AML legislation. You will work daily with our compliance and legal teams to ensure all solutions meet the necessary minimum standards.
Project and Communication Support: Support our temporary AML Deployment Manager by assisting with project management across seven ongoing projects related to AML compliance. This will also involve developing and implementing communication plans for our sales staff and dealers.
Strategic Recommendations: Provide key recommendations and make decisions based on your prior AML experience to ensure a smooth transition and operational compliance.
Training: Conduct both internal and external training sessions for our staff and dealers on new AML procedures and solutions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in the financial services industry, specifically with AML policies, commercial banking, and credit adjudication. You must be able to review legislation and translate it into a compliant implementation plan.
