Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
• Processing and coding vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing and processing weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files.
Accounts Receivable:
• Generating and sending out invoices.
• Monitoring accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Communicating with clients to resolve billing issues.
• Processing and applying incoming payments.
General Accounting:
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborating with other team members to support overall department goals.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: 1-5 years of experience in an AP/AR role.
Skills:
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
