This position focuses on providing expert, in-field service support for premium residential appliances, including troubleshooting, repair, modification, and installation. Approximately 90% of service work is completed in customer homes, with the remaining 10% in commercial settings. Technicians are expected to deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s high standards for technical excellence and brand representation.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted, professional ambassador of the brand, delivering expert-level in-home service, resolving technical issues efficiently, and ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $34.00–$37.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)

Experience servicing home appliances or HVAC systems (strong asset)

Technical Service & Customer Support
Perform in-home repairs, installations, and modifications on high-end appliances.
Ensure first-time resolution for service calls within assigned regions.
Use advanced tools and diagnostics (e.g., i-Service, Air Sledge) to support service quality and safety.
Educate customers on proper appliance use and address service-related questions.
Provide technical support and solutions for escalated service issues.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and brand representation.
Operations & Communication
Maintain accurate van stock and safeguard tools and parts.
Communicate with technical managers and service centers about uncommon product issues.
Complete repairs in retailer showrooms as required.
Collaborate with contact centers and support offices for service efficiency.
Promote service offerings and represent the brand during customer and dealer visits.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Always adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
Use only qualified methods for repairs to avoid injury or damage.
Maintain professional appearance, behavior, and customer interaction.
Report hazards or incidents to appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Gas B, Gas C, or Gas Appliance Technician ticket (1 of 3 is required)
3-5 years of experience servicing home appliances or HVAC systems (strong asset)
Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills
Legal eligibility to work full-time in British Columbia
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to explain technical issues in a simple, customer-friendly way.
Self-motivated, able to manage time and work independently.
Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license required. for this role
Physical & Environmental Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in various physical positions (e.g., bending, lifting, standing).
Frequent hand and finger use for tool handling and diagnostics.
Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and environmental hazards during fieldwork.
Visual acuity and attention to detail required for technical repairs.
