Apprentice - 3rd or 4th year

This role is set in a heavy, dirty industrial manufacturing environment. If you thrive in hands-on, high-intensity settings where you can get your hands dirty, troubleshoot robust machinery, and work alongside a supportive maintenance team, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on heavy-duty processing equipment and legacy machinery.

Diagnose and repair industrial hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and actuators.

Complete basic structural repairs using TIG and MIG welding techniques.

Monitor equipment operation in a heavy, dusty environment to proactively prevent downtime.

Work collaboratively with shift lead hands and team members to meet production goals safely.

Perform basic mechanical component replacement, drive alignment, and mechanical teardowns.

Qualifications
Background: 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice preferred, OR a proven mechanical background with strong hands-on industrial expertise. Candidates holding a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license will also be considered.

Industry Experience: Direct experience working in a heavy industrial, dirty, or heavy manufacturing environment is required.

Key Skills: Practical knowledge of hydraulic systems is essential.

Welding: Hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding is considered a strong asset.

Work Ethic: Comfortable working demanding 12-hour continental shifts (7 to 7) in a dusty, heavy-duty facility.
