Responsibilities
Fabricating and welding beams, towers, and round bar components
Performing hot spray transfer welding and stand-off welding
Tack welding, fitting on jigs, and assembling flanges and piping
Flat-position MCAW work (FCAW also welcome)
Some MIG welding if youâve got the skills â weâll use them!
Welding steel up to 3/4" thick
Keeping safety top of mind and showing up on time
Jumping in with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn every day
Qualifications
Apprentices must have an active bluebook
Journeymen will be considered for top-end pay at $28/hour
Solid MCAW or FCAW experience is essential
MIG welding and experience with jigs and heavy fabrication are great assets
Be ready to complete a weld test during the process
Background in trailers, tanks, or pipe work (non-pressure) is a big bonus
Someone commutable to Thorsby who values being part of a dependable crew
