Location: Victoria (Saanichton Area), BC
Shift: Overnight (Monday Night – Saturday Morning) Training: 3 weeks on Morning or Afternoon shift
Pay Rate: $23.50/hr (Training) $28.50/hr (Overnight including $5 shift premium)

The Production Assembler is responsible for performing operations in The Final Meter Assembly Cells. This includes assembling, testing, and boxing various products while following work instructions. New Hires will undergo line specific training followed by certification while learning Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Assemblers must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and have passion in achieving daily productivity targets while respecting our Safety, Quality, Environmental and Covid 19 policies

Responsibilities
As a Production Assembler, you will perform operations within the assembly cells. Key duties include:
Assembly & Testing: Install, assemble, and test electrical and mechanical components and hardware.
Precision Work: Use work instructions, diagrams, and workmanship standards to ensure quality.
Quality Control: Monitor and record documentation to meet strict quality requirements.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate shop equipment, manual tools, and light power tools.
Lean Manufacturing: Participate in 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts to maintain an efficient workspace.
Qualifications
We value personality and attitude above specific experience.
Experience: Assembly experience is an asset, but we will train anyone with a great attitude and team-player mindset.
Tenure: A proven track record of long-term commitment in previous roles.
Physical Ability: Comfortable with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and standing for long periods.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Background: Must be able to pass a clear criminal record check.
Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written/verbal math and reading instructions.
