Hey Cobourg & Northumberland County job seekers,
Let’s be honest: there’s a big difference between punching a clock for a paycheck and actually building something you can see at the end of the day. If you love working with your hands, know your way around a tape measure, and want a role where your hard work translates directly into internal promotion, we need to talk.
...
Randstad Canada is actively hiring full-time, dedicated Assemblers for a premier manufacturing client right here in the Cobourg area.
🎯 The Best Part? This isn't a temporary gig. This is a full-time position with 44 hour work weeks!
Advantages
💰 The Pay & The Perks
We know your time and effort are valuable. Here is what’s on the table:
Competitive Pay: $21.00/hour for Day Shift
No Rotations: Enjoy the stability of a straight day shift—no flipping your sleep schedule every week.
Work-Life Balance: Monday to Thursday (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) & Fridays (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Enjoy your weekends!
Job Security: Stable, year-round indoor/outdoor work with a tight-knit, supportive team.

🛠️ What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
You won’t be staring at a screen all day. Instead, you'll be on your feet, staying active, and collaborating with a great crew to:
Assemble & Fabricate: Use hand and power tools to build high-quality pre-fabricated roof trusses.
Material Prep: Read measuring tapes accurately and select the right lumber for the job.
Stay Active: Pick orders and stack lumber (you can skip the gym membership—this role involves repetitive, heavy lifting!).

✅ Tool Savvy: Proven experience with hand and power tools.
🛠️ Background in framing or general construction.
📐 Precision: Ability to quickly and accurately read a measuring tape.
