As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assisting in building truck bodies and shredding equipment that is engineered for simplicity and durability.
This Mechanical Assembler position offers a great schedule for those who value their time, featuring an early finish every Friday. If you have a background in manufacturing & logistics and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a project through from blueprints to a finished vehicle, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Advantages
• Competitive pay rate of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on your individual skill set.
• 3-month contract with the exciting potential for permanent hire based on performance.
• Great work-life balance with a short shift on Fridays, ending at 1:00 PM. Monday To Thursday 7-5pm Friday 7-1pm.

Responsibilities
• Build and assemble heavy-duty truck bodies and mobile equipment
• Perform precise mechanical assembly of multiple truck body components, ensuring all parts fit securely.
• Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw, and rivet various metal and mechanical components during the build process.
• Use a wide variety of hand and power tools such as drills, taps, saws, and levels safely and effectively.
• Complete quality assurance (QA) sign-offs to verify that all tasks meet the high standards of the shop.
Qualifications
• mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including tape measures, levels, drills, and hammers.
• Previous experience working with wood or steel is considered a significant asset for this role.
• High attention to detail to ensure every Assembler task meets safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time and complete tasks within designated windows.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy manufacturing & logistics shop.
