Pay rate: $17.20/hr
Position: Assembler
Location: Markham
Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person with room for growth.
We are searching for a candidate with immediate availability.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing
Read and follow established procedures, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Prepare work to be accomplished by verifying parts lists and gathering materials, subassemblies, and tools.
Position or align components and use hand tools, jigs, or machines to assemble them.
Validate the labels.
Produce units by assembling parts and subassemblies as per work order.
Examine assembly for correct fit, fastening of parts and subassemblies.
Verify conformity and quality by performing tests as per requirements.
Notify Team Lead of assembly or BOM problems.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Assist other Assemblers when required.
Qualifications
Knowledge of production processes and equipment.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
High attention to detail and meticulous.
High tolerance for stress and pressure.
Capability to work in a team.
Ability to retain information and to follow work instructions.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks.
