Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Location: Thornhill, ON (transit accessible)
Work Type: Full-time hours, contract with potential to extend
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures while strictly following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform basic machine operations and necessary adjustments to ensure the assembly process runs efficiently.
- Inspect parts and finished products for defects to ensure total quality compliance, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to all established health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including the accurate counting of components required for assembly.
- Track and document production data, such as units completed and time spent, ensuring all paperwork is precise and up to date.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to consistently meet production targets and project deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in Assembly.
- Experience using hand tools or power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
- Ability to lift up t0 50 lbs.
