As an Asset Owner at our Calgary facility, you will play a critical role within our team, supporting production employees in their daily work and continuous improvement journey. You will partner closely with Operators, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership to strengthen engagement, drive performance, and build ownership of safety, quality, and operational results. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives on the production floor and believes that strong results start with empowered people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach and support operators in daily execution, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Evaluate performance and contribute to annual performance reviews
- Validate daily performance metrics, transactions, time losses, and operational results
- Validate quality testing and support resolution of quality issues at the asset level
- Support DRS action plans and actively address asset‑related time losses
- Ensure continuous improvement and relevance of DRS boards aligned with evolving operational needs
- Coach operators on effective communication through DRS meetings
- Share best practices and collaborate with other Asset Owners
- Perform Health & Safety audits, own A‑risks, and support action plans for a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Support Lean Leadership and Autonomous Asset Management pillars
- Create, review, and improve Clean, Inspect & Lubricate (CIL) processes and execution
- Assess asset performance and material consumption; support corrective action plans
- Conduct risk analysis related to equipment, processes, and tasks
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams in a manufacturing environment with a servant leadership mindset
- Strong understanding of production assets and operational processes
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex situations with confidence
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of Lean Production System principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field OR a technical/vocational diploma (A combination of education and Lean manufacturing experience will be considered)
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365; knowledge of SAP and Power BI is highly desirable
