Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor the accounting team, managing the day-to-day operations of general accounting
- Lead the month-end and quarterly reporting processes, ensuring accuracy in a complex multi-dimensional general ledger system
- Prepare detailed documentation and working papers for annual audits
- Utilize ERP software and Excel-based tools to automate and streamline financial reporting
- Support the Financial Controller in meeting KPIs and aligning financial activities with the annual budget
Qualifications
- 5+ years of senior-level accounting experience (e.g., Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller)
- Degree in Finance or Accounting; a CPA designation is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or construction is highly beneficial
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and uploads
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with a diverse workforce
