Responsibilities
Project Support
- Assists the project manager in various aspects of project management.
Planning & Execution
- Helps in planning and executing project steps from start to finish.
Coordination
- Works with other team members to coordinate project activities and ensure a smooth workflow.
Reporting
- Reports on project progress to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience managing institutional and or Industrial/commercial large scale, complex projects.
- Proven track record of managing projects on time and within budget.
- Someone that has worked on projects such as community centres, hockey arenas, swimming pools, affordable housing, libraries, fire hall, operation centres, maintenance facilities, police station, military base, theatre, long term care, university, or college.
- They focus on projects between $5-million to $80-million with the sweet spot being in the $25-$40-million range.
- Post-secondary architectural and or engineering education, from a Canadian or Ontario based university or college.
- PMP, LEED AP, Gold Seal certifications
- Efficiency with Procore for project management software, and Microsoft Project, Primavera for scheduling.
