Responsibilities
- System Configuration: Build and maintain components including Schemas, Maps, Pipelines, Ports, and Orchestrations using BizTalk Server 2016 (or higher).
- Integration Engineering: Define and coordinate technical solutions using messaging patterns, data synchronization techniques, and event-based transactions.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate on business requirement reviews, conducting impact and option analyses to recommend sustainable technical designs.
- Development & Lifecycle: Develop functional specifications and effort estimates following a prescribed SDLC methodology.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Create unit and integration test cases; perform defect resolution using tools such as soapUI and Postman.
- Operational Support: Manage operational parameters (roles, permissions, user attributes) and provide rotational off-hours/on-call support.
- WCF Services: Publish and consume WCF services as ports within the integration environment.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of programming and full system development experience (C#, JavaScript, or Java).
- Specialization: At least 2 years of deep experience with BizTalk Server (VS2016 / FW4.6).
- Adapter Knowledge: Proficiency with WCF-Adapters, DB2 adapters, and FILE adapters.
- Tooling: Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, BizTalk Management Pack, and performance testing tools.
- Methodology: Familiarity with Agile (or SAFe) development and Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
