Core Skills

Strong experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.) – 5+ years of experience
Expertise in cloud architecture best practices (scalability, security, cost optimization, high availability).
Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK).
Proficiency in networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPN, PrivateLink).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Azure Devops, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Certifications (preferred)

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate as minimum).
Additional AWS certifications (Security, DevOps Engineer, Advanced Networking) are a plus.
Experience

Minimum 5+ years of cloud/IT architecture experience, with 3+ years on AWS.
Demonstrated experience leading architecture design sessions and producing well-architected frameworks.
Past consulting/contractor experience (client-facing, delivering documentation, presenting solutions). Emphasis on this item as we are looking for having well structured, clean documents.
Soft Skills

Strong communication skills (able to explain technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders).
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Problem-solving mindset with focus on business outcomes.
Deliverables

Architecture diagrams and documentation.
Proof-of-concepts and reference implementations.
Security and compliance alignment (IAM, encryption, monitoring, governance).
