We're looking for a strong, experienced Backend Engineer who is passionate about technology, takes ownership, and excels at designing and implementing solutions to complex problems. You will join a team of Senior Platform developers responsible for building and enhancing the core platform.
What You'll Do
Design and implement enhancements to core services with a focus on high throughput and performance using languages like Java 21, Kotlin, and Javascript.
Develop RESTful APIs using backend frameworks such as Spring-boot (Java/Kotlin) and Express (Node.js).
Deliver features for distributed environments leveraging microservices architecture and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Maintain the core developer platform, ensuring a great developer experience.
Previous experience with FinTechs and accounting/ERP systems is a strong asset.
What You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Developer in Java (or Kotlin). Ideally, Java 21.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
Experience with RESTful API Design and Microservices Architecture.
Good understanding of SDLC processes and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
