Pay Rate: $18.88 per hour (plus applicable premiums based on shift/department).
Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
Rotation: Weekly rotation between days and nights; Monday to Friday.
Total Hours: 48 hours per week (Overtime begins after 44 hours).
Responsibilities
Operate industrial mixers, scale ingredients with precision, manage dough consistency, and lead tote operations.
Mixing Operations: Lead the mixing process, ensuring dough texture and temperature meet exact specifications.
Ingredient Scaling: Precisely measure and scale ingredients, mimicking the accuracy required in pastry or high-end restaurant kitchens.
Equipment Mastery: Operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor adjustments on industrial mixers and material handling equipment.
Tote & Premix Coordination: Manage the flow of premixes to mixers, ensuring zero downtime and accurate documentation of all materials used.
Quality Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on food quality, monitoring variety changes and correcting deviations immediately.
Qualifications
Culinary Background: Previous experience as a pastry chef, baker, or back-of-house restaurant professional.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using commercial mixers and precise measuring tools.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
Compliance: Deep understanding of GMPs and food safety protocols from a professional kitchen or plant environment.
