Responsibilities
- Triaging issues and service requests via phone, e-mail, Teams, and the HelpDesk ticketing system (TOPdesk).
- Recording details of reported IT service issues and working to either restore service at first contact or escalating them to the appropriate support groups.
- Providing technical advice and support to employees and explaining standards related to the use of networks, software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Investigating and resolving simple to moderate software, hardware, communication, and connectivity problems, as well as some security issues.
- Assisting in the delivery and installation of client systems and peripherals, including performing operating system and software installations and updating the IT inventory.
- Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees, including equipment delivery, documentation, and user training.
- Assisting in the creation and update of IT procedures, FAQ documents, user guides, and knowledgebase articles.
- Delivering training and coaching sessions to employees on the use of peripherals, software, and services.
- Building relationships with support specialists to ensure IT-delivered services goals are met.
Qualifications
Validly held Secret-level Security Clearance
Fluently Bilingual (ENG/FRE, FRE/ENG)
Post-Secondary Education in IT
Recent IT Support / Application Support experience
Experience in a Corporate IT Helpdesk Environment
Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems
