We are hiring for a Customer Service Representative role within a dynamic investment company. In this position, you will be a key point of contact, supporting either our direct customers or the Financial Advisors and employees within our Credit Union (CU Wealth) division.
While most support is provided over the phone, you will also assist clients via email and online chat. We are looking for positive, empathetic individuals who "live and breathe" customer service and consistently go above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities
- Support Credit Unions and Customers - problem-solving, info, docs
- Support clients -explain account opening
- Typically support 2 of: Online, MFDA, IIROC, QTrade.
- Support 80-85% internal & Credit Unions, 15-20% Clients
- Customers (Credit Union partners and clients) call, online chat, and email us about our products
- You answer those calls, chats, and emails, and make them happy by fixing their problems
- Follow up whenever needed and before our customers have to
Qualifications
- Fluent speaking in English and French
- A post-secondary education is not required but if you have one in financial administration or services, that’s a plus!
- Also a plus, but not required, would be completion of the Investment Funds Course (IFIC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) explain our CSR candidates wont likely have this for readily available candidates
- Experience in the financial services industry could help, especially if it was with a customer experience leader
- Banking or retail people, especially in customer service, prior teachers or caregivers, people with volunteer service (best if they come from companies known for excellent customer service – think Disney, Starbucks, etc.)
- Call center support
- A bit of tech savvy mixed in (they will use various systems, look up documents, etc.)
- Excellent Customer service, very good communication, friendly, problem solver and positive attitude
- Good listener
