You will collaborate closely with technical solutions teams and District Sales Managers in Quebec to provide precision quotes and order acknowledgments. Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, managing a high-volume inbox of 50-70 emails and calls daily.
- Generate accurate price quotes, order acknowledgments, and follow-ups for mechanical components.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.
- Liaise directly with the technical solutions team for complex orders and support the District Sales Managers.
- Expedite orders and manage escalations to maintain department KPIs for speed and quality.
- Document all customer interactions and technical assumptions clearly in the QAD system.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
- College diploma or equivalent professional experience in a mechanical/industrial field.
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, specifically the ability to read blueprints.
- Advanced multitasking and prioritization skills to handle high-pressure deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a "calm and professional" phone manner.
- Must be able to commute to the Mississauga office 5 days a week (8:30am-5pm).
